I'm sitting here on my bed, too hot to continue with the housework that so desperately needs to be done, finding my mind wandering around like a wandering-around-thing so thought this a perfect time for a final blog post for the year.
I've neglected both blogging and Twitter for the last few months, and I'm not even really sure why. I do know that I was finding myself spending far too much on Twitter and getting even less done than usual, so I guess a big break was called for. Blogging seems to kind of go with Twitter, so it fell by the wayside as well.
Venturing hesitantly back to Twitter last week I was touched to see so many "Hi, wherethehelluvyoubin?"messages and therefore felt immediately guilty for disappearing without a trace and not letting my lovely tweeps know I was just having a break. So sorry. Again. I know I have also neglected to follow all your lovely bloggedyblogs, so am going to make a cuppa in a minute and play catch-up!
So, here we are at the tail end of 2009. Good year? Not so much. It's been a year of dithering and Really Bad Employment History. I've spent far more of this year unemployed than otherwise, and have gotten lazy and meh in the process.
On a good note, however, Tall D and I have made it through the year without deciding we hate each other, lol! In fact, we are on the verge of moving in together, assuming I can find a job before the kids start at their respective new schools! This blending of families will, I'm sure, be a big adjustment for all concerned, but I'm hopefull we can find some mishy-mashy way of squishing us all together in a reasonably acceptable fashion!
Another tick on the positive side is the fact that I've finally obtained my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, so am now actually qualified to do vocational training and assessment. Now I just have to get past the rather massive obstacle of all job ads stating unequivocably that they REQUIRE all applicants to have 2+ years of experience. Hmmmmm...
Anyhoo, that's my end of 2009 rambling rambles. Time to get re-acquainted with the blogosphere. Wishing all of you lovely people all the best for the New Year and may 2010 bring you all that you desire!

Happy New Year! Congrats on the certificate!
Glad to see you back online. As long as you pop up every now and then you will keep us all happy.

Glad o see you haven't dropped of the face of the earth. Good luck on the moving in thing!
Well done on obtaining your Cert IV too (can I be forward and ask who you studied through? Considering studying for it later in the year)
Jodes, I did it through an RTO in Perth called AIWT - here's website: www.aiwt.com.au.
Most TAFE's offer it as well, but it can take longer doing it that way.
Good to see you back. Hope the mojo sticks around. :)
